1 · About this practice
Polifigeur is a private styling practice for executive women, operated by Polifigeur LLC, a single-member California limited liability company. These terms govern your use of polifigeur.com and any service you purchase from the practice.
By using this site, taking the Polifigeur archetype quiz, or purchasing any service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase a service.
2 · What is free, and what is paid
Two things are free. Everything else is paid. The line between them is stated here so there is no ambiguity.
Free, with no purchase and no obligation:
The Polifigeur style archetype quiz.
Your archetype result — the archetype you score and the result page describing it.
Paid:
Everything else, beginning with The Polifigeur Report at $250 and the three service tiers above it, as set out in clause 4.
3 · The archetype quiz and your result
The Polifigeur style archetype quiz is provided free of charge. Completing it returns your archetype and a result page describing it.
The quiz and its result are diagnostic. They are not a styling service. No consultation, no dossier, and no wardrobe recommendation is included, and none is owed to you on the strength of having taken the quiz.
The quiz is offered as-is. Polifigeur does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserves the right to change, pause or withdraw it at any time. Your archetype result reflects professional judgement and is not a guarantee of any outcome.
Your archetype result is yours to keep and use for your own purposes. The quiz itself — its questions, its scoring, the five archetypes, and all result copy — remains the property of Polifigeur LLC under clause 12 below, and may not be reproduced, adapted, or used in any commercial or organisational setting.
The depth behind your archetype — line and silhouette, colour, the four things that undo it, and how it reads across the rooms you actually walk into — is The Polifigeur Report, and it is available separately.
4 · The services
Polifigeur offers four paid services. Prices shown at the point of purchase are the prices that apply.
The Polifigeur Report — a ten-page archetype dossier, delivered digitally as a PDF within one business day of purchase.
The Opening Edit — the Report, three outfits built for three occasions you name with links, and a thirty-minute virtual consultation.
The Signature Edit — the Report, five to eight outfits in total with links, and a sixty-minute virtual consultation.
The Full Presence — the Report, eight to ten outfits in total across a full year of occasions, a customized digital shopping list, and four hours of personal shopping assistance to be used within ninety days of the consultation.
Outfit counts are totals, not additions. A higher tier does not add its outfit count to the tier below it.
Additional personal shopping hours beyond the four included in The Full Presence are available at $175 per hour by written agreement.
5 · Scope
Each engagement is limited to the outfits included in the tier you purchase, to a maximum of ten. The practice does not provide full wardrobe overhauls, closet audits, or ongoing seasonal styling as part of any tier.
Work falling outside the purchased scope requires a written amendment agreed by both parties before it begins.
6 · Schedule and availability
All consultations and personal shopping sessions take place Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Polifigeur reserves the right to decline scheduling outside these days.
Consultations are booked through the scheduling link provided after purchase and are held virtually unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7 · Payment
All services are paid in full at the time of purchase through Stripe, our payment processor. Payment confirms your engagement; work does not begin and consultations cannot be booked until payment has cleared.
Polifigeur does not accept deposits, instalments, or payment by any method other than the Stripe payment link provided. Prices are in US dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Founding cohort rates are available to the first twelve clients at The Opening Edit or above. Once the cohort is full, standard rates apply. The rate shown to you at purchase is the rate you pay.
8 · Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
The Polifigeur Report is a digital product delivered in full within one business day of purchase. Because it is delivered immediately and cannot be returned, it is non-refundable once sent.
For The Opening Edit, The Signature Edit and The Full Presence:
More than 72 hours before your scheduled consultation, you may cancel for a full refund or reschedule at no charge.
Within 72 hours of your scheduled consultation, the session may be rescheduled once at no charge. Refunds are not available inside this window.
A missed consultation without notice, or a second cancellation after a rescheduling has already been granted, forfeits the session.
Once the consultation has taken place, fees are non-refundable. The work is bespoke, and it begins immediately.
Polifigeur may reschedule a session in the event of illness or emergency. Where this happens, you may choose a new date at no charge or receive a full refund.
9 · Upgrade credits
The Polifigeur Report fee credits in full toward The Opening Edit, The Signature Edit or The Full Presence, within thirty days of delivery. The Opening Edit fee credits in full toward The Signature Edit or The Full Presence, within thirty days of the consultation.
Credits do not stack, are not redeemable for cash, and expire at the end of their stated window. Each credit code may be used once.
10 · Confidentiality
All client information is held in strict confidence. This includes your identity, your employer, the rooms and occasions you name, your measurements and fit considerations, your budget, and anything you share in a consultation or on the booking form.
Polifigeur will not name you as a client, publish your likeness, or quote you publicly without your prior written consent. This obligation survives the completion or termination of your engagement.
11 · Referral and discretion
Polifigeur is a referral-only practice. It grows through private introductions between women who know one another, and discretion is part of how it works.
We ask — as a courtesy, not as a condition of your engagement — that you keep the practice’s contact details and availability within your own circle rather than posting them publicly. Private introductions to individuals you know are welcome and are the whole mechanism of the practice.
Nothing in these terms restricts your right to share your honest opinion of Polifigeur, in any forum, at any time. You are free to review the practice, discuss what you paid, describe your experience, and say whatever you find to be true. No term of this agreement is intended to limit that, and any term that did would be void and unenforceable.
12 · Intellectual property
The Polifigeur style archetype system — the five archetypes, the diagnostic quiz, the archetype dossiers, and all associated copy, frameworks and materials — is the proprietary intellectual property of Polifigeur LLC.
Taking the free quiz grants you your result and nothing further. Purchasing a service grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials you receive for your own wardrobe. Neither grants you the right to reproduce, distribute, publish, resell, or use any part of the system for training, workshops, or any commercial or organisational purpose.
Corporate and organisational use of the archetype system is available under separate written licence. Enquiries are welcome at the address below.
13 · The nature of the work
Polifigeur provides professional styling and image direction. It is a matter of judgement and taste, informed by twenty years of professional experience. No specific outcome — professional, commercial, or personal — is promised or guaranteed.
Where the practice recommends garments, you purchase them directly from third-party retailers. Polifigeur is not responsible for retailer pricing, availability, fit, quality, delivery, or returns, and holds no financial interest in the pieces recommended to you.
14 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Polifigeur LLC’s total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that engagement. Polifigeur is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
15 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
16 · Changes to these terms
Polifigeur may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. The terms in force at the time of your purchase are the terms that govern your engagement.
